About Us

Potomac Dog School is led by Janet Sidebottom, a Certified Professional Trainer and graduate of the National K-9 School for Dog Trainers in Columbus, Ohio. She brings twenty years of experience in the world of dogs to the school.
The concept of the “school” is straightforward: assist people with their dogs and help in any way possible for people and dogs to have the most enriched relationships possible.  
The concept of our cageless facility is based on the pack environment which is natural, healthy and loving.  The companionship of the dogs and people is there 24/7 which they understand and enjoy tremendously.  Dogs are genetically wired to being in a pack so this environment is very satisfying and stimulating.
