Course Requirements and Description                             Fee – $189.95

A 6 lesson course designed for young dogs 8 months of age or has completed intermediate obedience level training.  The primary objective is to prepare you and your dog to achieve a higher level of performance and establish a foundation for advanced learning.

Proof of vaccination and immunization inoculations is required before bringing your dog to class.  Training will require the use of a standard buckle collar, a 4 or 6 foot and a 15 foot leash.  Training collars, i.e. Martingale, Good Dog, Gentle Leader, Pinch or Slip type are not required but acceptable for training.  The Instructor may recommend a particular style of training collar depending on the general nature of your dog.  Collars should be adjusted to allow only two fingers to slip under the collar.

The first lesson is 1.5 hours in length.  All other lessons will be one hour in length.  If for any reason you are unable to attend a particular lesson, make up lessons will be available, space permitting.  Family participation is expected and encouraged.  Access to the training area is not permitted once a lesson has begun and while class is in session.  The use of cell phones during class is strongly discouraged.  All cell phones ringers should be turned off during class. Weather permitting certain exercises will be conducted in our fenced training grounds.  Upon completion of all lessons and course requirements a certificate of achievement will be awarded.
