Dog days of Downtown Silver Spring

Be sure to join us in downtown Silver Spring this upcoming Sunday November 13 between 11am-3pm for the 4th annual Dog Days! This annual fun pet and family event is the region's largest free celebration of our doggie companions! There will also be many local rescue groups and shelters with dogs available for adoption. And don't forget to bring your dogs! (as long as they are friendly, and on a leash!)

About Rawhide Chews

Many rawhide chews are too hard, inviting broken teeth, and some are splintery, risking perforated intestines and other internal injuries. What you can do is actively supervise your dog when he or she is chewing a chew. To reduce the risk of choking or bowel obstructions take it away from them if it starts shedding pieces that you wouldn't want them to swallow whole or when it gets close to the end.
